Iris is a personal assistant that runs inside Telegram. It is not a public service: two people use it, the owner and his wife. Registration is closed and access is granted by invitation.
Each user grants consent for their own account. Iris only works with data belonging to the account that granted it, and never shows one user's data to the other.
On the owner's private server. Access tokens are stored in files readable only by the assistant's own process. Full copies of email are not retained: what is kept is the message identifier, the outcome of the analysis, and a link back to the original in Gmail.
Data is not shared with third parties, with one necessary exception: to determine whether a message contains a ticket or a deadline, its text is sent to a language model provider that performs the analysis. The feature cannot work otherwise.
Data is never sold, never used for advertising, never supplied to data brokers, and never used for profiling.
Iris's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data obtained through Google APIs is not used to develop, improve or train generalized AI models.
Data is kept for as long as you use the assistant. You can revoke access at any time from your Google Account permissions page (myaccount.google.com/permissions). Revocation takes effect immediately; any derived data still held is deleted on request to the address below.
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page is updated.
